Antioxidant potential in hibiscus flower extract is measured via a FRAP (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power) assay. Proliferation usually occurs around two weeks after injury, characterized by angiogenesis, collagen deposition, epithelialization, and wound contraction. Fibroblasts play a role in fibrosis and granulation tissue formation by producing collagen and fibronectin, creating a new temporary extracellular matrix.
