Blue Tansy:

 

Morocco’s Blue Tansy is a small yellow flower that belongs to the daisy family, growing to about 40 cm tall, that flowers from August to October. It requires approximately 2000kg of plant material to distil 1kg of essential oil.

 

The essential oil of Morocco’s Blue Tansy is distilled from these small yellow flowers. Due to its rich content of chamazulene, the Blue Tansy appears vibrant blue during the distillation process. It possesses soothing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties and moisturising effects while providing strong cellular defence. Blue Tansy has a sweet, pleasant aroma that aids in relieving tension and stress.

 

Shitake Mushroom:

 

In 1811, scientists discovered chitin and its derivative, chitosan, in mushroom cell walls. Chitosan exhibits good film-forming and fibrous properties, typically extracted from the shells of animals like shrimp and crabs. Fungi, such as mushrooms, contain not only plant-based chitosan, but a significant amount of proteins, vitamins B&D, and polysaccharides with excellent moisturising and cell-repairing capabilities for the skin. The research discovered that polysaccharides from shiitake mushrooms, when extracted with hot water without any chemical additives, effectively inhibit melanin production, brighten the skin, and provide excellent moisturisation, improving the appearance of the skin. Studies have found that incorporating shiitake mushroom extract into skincare products significantly enhances anti-ageing, moisturising, and brightening effects.

For face:

 

After misting your face with Rose Hydrosol, take 2-3 pumps and spread it evenly on your face with warm palms. Alternatively, pump onto a cotton pad and then spread. 

 

You can also mix 1 pump of Blue Tansy Blossom Nutrient + 2-4 drops of Luxury Face Oil, and apply it to your face.

 

 

For eyes: 

 

After misting your face with Rose Hydrosol, pump Blue Tansy Blossom Nutrient onto your palm and gently spread the essence around your eyes using your fingers. Continue your routine with a BE.ST Eye product.

 

 

As a face mask: 

 

After misting your face with Rose Hydrosol, soak a thin cotton pad/paper mask in Blue Tansy Blossom Nutrient (+ rose hydrosol), place the cotton pad/ paper mask onto your face for 15-20 minutes, then mist the face with Rose Hydrosol again, and massage until absorbed. No need to rinse.

 

 

As an eye mask: 

 

After misting your face with Rose Hydrosol, soak a thin cotton pad/paper eye mask in Blue Tansy Blossom Nutrient (+ rose hydrosol), place the cotton pad/ paper eye mask over your eyes for 15-20 minutes, then mist the face with Rose Hydrosol again, and massage until absorbed. No need to rinse.
