It contains over a hundred compounds, with the main components being geraniol (36.70-9.18%), linalool (12.82-0.47%), nonadecane (22.73-10.36%), eicosane (31.7-11.43%), and nonadecene (6.03-3.93%). Research has shown that Bulgarian Damascus Rose, due to compounds like geraniol and linalool, can effectively inhibit organisms such as Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, and fungi.
